- 2 (5 oz) bottles clear school glue
- 10 oz water
- 8 oz liquid starch
- 1/4 cup glitter
- 1/4 cup Halloween spider confetti or tiny plastic spiders
How do you make Halloween Spider Slime with glue?
This recipe yields a generous batch—enough to share with several kids or to portion into small jars as party favors. It’s straightforward and fun to make together.
1. In a large mixing bowl, pour the contents of both bottles of clear glue.
2. Add the water and mix thoroughly until the glue and water are fully combined.
3. Stir in the glitter and the spider confetti or tiny plastic spiders so the color and sparkle are evenly distributed.
4. Gradually add about half of the liquid starch to the mixture, stirring continuously. The slime will begin to come together as you stir.
5. If the mixture remains runny, add a little more starch at a time—about a tablespoon—stirring after each addition. Stop adding starch when the mixture pulls away from the sides of the bowl and forms a single, gelatinous mass.
