Index of Dressings and Sauces
A few weeks ago a friend asked if I could make every dressing and sauce on this site individually searchable. She often wants to reuse a dressing or sauce on its own, but it can be difficult to find unless she remembers the exact recipe name or the dish it originates from. For example, she might recall a “chunky, green garlicky sauce” but not the recipe title, and a site-wide search won’t necessarily turn up the pesto she’s thinking of.
I explored technical options, but WordPress and archive constraints prevent separating small components like dressings, cremas, pestos, and salsas from their source recipes in the archive. To solve this practically, I built a manually maintained index listing every dressing and sauce on Domesticate ME!, each linked back to the original recipe where the full instructions live. This makes it easy to locate and adapt a dressing, crema, pesto, sauce, or salsa for your own cooking without hunting through entire recipes.
